Policy Albums

A little while ago Graphic 45, had mini albums made from policy envelopes and bound with wire coils. In order to keep costs down, I ordered some black policy envelopes off the internet (or you could go to a stationery store or office supply) and made my own albums. The papers used were Cosmo Cricket Clementine Collection, October Afternoon Thrift Shop Collection and Papers from the Pink Paislee 2012 Warehouse sale and some Jenni Bowlin designs. These are really cute, really quick albums and they have room in the envelope for plenty of ephemera, photos, notes anything you like. I bound the albums using my Cinch and some their wire coils. They made great Christmas presents last year.

These papers are from Jenni Bowlin's Black and Red Collection and are some of my favorites with the vintage images.

How do you like the Cosmo Cricket's Clementine papers were used for this album, they are so sweet?

She Art by Pink Paislee offers so much sentiment and are really heart-felt and colorful papers. I loved working with them. I stamped these pages too with Unity's She stamps. The too items really coordinated well.

These papers are from October Afternoon Thrift Shop Collection another favorite. Thanks for looking everyone.

Paris Mini Album with Accordion Fold Binding and Cover

I just love Charlie Jones on Youtube, she has the most wonderful style in creating and decorating mini albums. I have included one of her videos on the blog for you to check her out. I made this mini based on one of hers also using Graphic 45's "All that Jazz" Collection. It documents a trip to Europe and time spent in Paris. So far, it's my favorite mini, I learned a new technique and I love how it turned out. Here are a few pages, what do you thinks? Did you check out Charlie Jones on Youtube?

Just in case you missed it, here is a link to the Charlie Jones video  http://youtu.be/xe9jDceQ-UI and tutorial, happy crafting.

Chipboard Mini Albums

Mini albums are really my favorite kind of craft item to make. Here is a quick look at some of the albums I have made that have a chipboard base. Thanks for looking. The albums below were made with the Mariposa Paper from DCWV, Tim Holtz Adage, Prima mulberry flowers, Jolees Scrabble Letters and the second album was made with MME papers, Unity Stamp, Tim Holtz Adage, Queen and Co. foam letters, bling and Maya Road bingo heart.

This is my favorite chipboard album and it took the most time to complete, at the time it was my most adventurous endeavor and of course used my favorite paper Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante.

Toilet Paper Mini Albums

Again on the green trend, recycling, upcycling whatever you want to call it is the toilet paper, paper towel mini.  They are so cute and fun to make. All you do is glue shut one end of a toilet paper tube and cover them in patterned paper. Punch holes for rings or ribbon on the side of the tube you want to bind, add your ring or ribbon and voila you have your album.  The open end of the album is a great place to put tags, other photos or notes to the album recipient. Take a look at these. Can you tell I have a favorite subject?

The papers used here are Basic Grey and Graphic 45
